With the ever increasing thirst for knowledge, there are a large number of websites that allow internet users to share information and knowledge with each other. For webmasters, the issue is with selecting the best script to buy. Google answers, yahoo answers are some of the most popular question answer sites that a large number of people can access and seek answers to almost anything under the sun.
We’ve tried out the best available scripts in the market, and here to help make your decision a little easier. Askme Pro is a knowledge management system that allows webmasters to set up a google – answers like website.
The features are quite extensive, and it is very simple to set up, and rather quick too.
The biggest drawback however is the way the whole thing really works. When users post a question, they are required to select a category under which the question is to feature, and then specify an amount that they are willing to pay to obtain an answer from another user. There are a large number of other such scripts available, where providing answers is free. The script is no doubt good, but the support also could do much better. They weren’t very responsive when we posted them with queries. Over that, it’s a little too expensive, considering the fact that users are required to pay for every answer. Their license costs $100 and they offer free updates only for a year after purchase.
Also, it is not a very secure script and can be easily tampered with. There are much better scripts out there, like Anova, which is made by Agriya. The default design of the script isn’t impressive and could definitely do a lot better. Overall, this script needs a lot of improvement.
