After extensive testing of a large number of video sharing software, we find that ‘Clipshare’ has quite a few positives when compared to the others, although, overall we were quite disappointed, we’re born with expectations, and clipshare didn’t reach upto them.
In terms of design, this script is definitely a step ahead of all the rest available. It’s true that somehow none of us find exactly what we’re looking for, but when there’s no other choice, you just pick the best apple out of a basket of them. We award clipshare points for their default design; it’s much nicer than any other video sharing script out there.
However, it doesn’t offer as many features as Rayzz, and the cheaper version isn’t half as effective and is very basic. The video player in clipshare isn’t as nice and appealing as the ones in some of the other scripts and there are loads of complaints about the software and its work. When we purchased the product, it took several hours before we could actually start using the product, even though the full payment was made.
Another thing that doesn’t go in favour of this script is the fact that it was created by an individual, and all the work is outsourced to India; so there’s no backup if he’s ill or goes missing, and it’s therefore not as stable as a company offering one such software would be. The support was very disappointing but is showing signs of improvement now. They offer several versions of the script with costs that vary from $25 to $199, but the features and efficiency reduce with the price too.

I worked on the version 3 of clipshare for a client and pretty much ended up re-writing the code myself. You don’t seem to have gone through the code much, but variable names had spelling mistakes, the functions file had over 3000 lines, could go on!
I saw the version 4 script the other day, and it’s an improvement, but wouldn’t want to see it running on a popular site. The support and documentation is balls too. Same for mediawatch pro.
