Kootali is a social networking script, which is a facebook clone. It seems to have all the features of facebook, plus a few additional ones. When we purchased the script, we found it a little too expensive, but learnt that it’s worth it. Compared to other similar scripts, it has lesser bugs, gives lesser problems, and has a whole load of features, including mini feeds, groups, events, and stickies.
It’s quite flexible and features that are not needed can be done away with. They keep making changes to the script, are always adding features and keeping customers updated. The layout is satisfactory and since it is customizable, it can be changed according to needs. We’d recommend it for anyone who would like to build a social networking site on the lines of facebook.
We did encounter some problems while installing, and when we contacted the support, we were helped out promptly, although since it’s an India based company, they might not always understand exactly what you are trying to say in English at the first go, but they’re more than willing to help in every way they can.
It is a pretty good script for all those who are looking to make big money through social networking scripts. It definitely is a lot more expensive than the other freely available scripts, but it is also a lot better.
